15 years ago we started celebrating the first Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi, the author of Shahnameh (The Book of Kings) in Manchester. This year, our annual celebration will be in English and Persian and consists of talk, music and dance.

Last year's event with traditional Persian music and Ghazaleh Delmardi's enchanting dance performance with Keyana and Tara.

As well as the opportunity to buy books from the authors, we have an exchange table, where you could bring the book that you have read and in return pick another title from our exchange table.
