The 13th Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi is a free event (on 7th May) in English and Persian sections, but requires registration on line. Places are limited, please book your free ticket by clicking here.

Speakers:
Dr Mahmoud Kavir (Mahmood Kavir), historian, poet and playwright, is the main speaker for the 13th Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi. His talk is in Persian and تراژدی قدرت در شاهنامه: رستم و اسفندیار is the title of his talk.
سخنران اصل برنامه جناب دکتر محمود کویر هستند و عنوان صحبت ایشان، تراژدی قدرت در شاهنامه: رستم و اسفندیار می‌باشد.
Friends attending Shahnameh workshops will be reading parts of Shahnameh in Persian and talk about the meaning in Persian and English.
گروهی از دوستانی که در کارگاه‌های شاهنامه‌خوانی شرکت می‌کنند بخشی از شاهنامه را خوانده و به فارسی و انگلیسی معنی می‌کنند.
Dr Shahireh Sharif, Writer and performer, will be talking an women as a force of change in Shahnameh. This talk is in English.
